Callum Black is a Jersey-born Karateka, recently based in Japan.
I have been personally inspired by his journey and dedication for many years, here I have created custom artwork to honour a small part of his story.

To highlight his roots, I have The cross of Scotland and Jersey.
The circle (Japan’s rising run) represents his years living, training and competing in Tokyo.
The fist depicts his key Dojos and the two tips of his belt mark the two black belts he has obtained over a life-time of dedication.
One of the many philosophies taken from his years in this world is the ‘Beginners mentality’, shown on his right with a hanging white belt.
